WHAT IS A 4-H PROJECT?
A 4-H project is an area of investigation that members select. They can pursue anything they might choose to do or like to learn about. Projects are selected based on the member’s individual interests. Youth receive project literature to use as a reference, and with guidance from adult and youth leaders they work throughout the year on different activities in the project. Finally, the members can exhibit items at the county fair to show what they did or learned in the project.
Projects can be offered individually, at the club level, or be available countywide. Countywide projects include:
- Air Rifle
- Communications: Auctioneering
- Communications: Public Speaking
- Flying: Drones/ UAV and UAS
